This project involved the construction of a new four-storey residential building in Stockholm, featuring self-supporting frame structures made of precast reinforced concrete and metal. Skonto Prefab was responsible for the design, production, delivery, and assembly of the precast reinforced concrete and steel structures. The greatest challenge was integrating the building’s original external walls—constructed in the 1950s—into the new modern structure. This was successfully achieved while meeting all architectural requirements.
