This residential building served as a demonstration project to promote CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) construction in Tannersville, NY, USA. Its geometry draws inspiration from a deconstructed interpretation of the traditional gable-roofed house commonly seen in local architecture. The tall roof peaks respond to the densely wooded surroundings, while large windows on all sides of the facade maximize views of the nearby mountains and stream.
